Dr. Stratford’s contributions are countless, but most noteworthy are his efforts in establishing what is now the Starpupils school based vision screening. His unwavering support of the value of the program has lead to the successful installation into nearly every public school throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Because of the exponential growth of our programs and services over the last decade, in which Dr. Stratford was instrumental, we have acquired the office space next door to our existing unit and will expand our headquarters to meet this growing need. The two spaces will connect through what will be the Stratford Gallery, a fitting tribute to the significant role Dr. Stratford has played, and continues to play, in our mission of preserving sight.
